Romans 8:5 Those who live
according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature
desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their
minds set on what the Spirit desires.
1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for
us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for
whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all
things came and through whom we live.
Deuteronomy 8:7 For the
LORD your God is bringing you into a good land–a land with streams and
pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills;
Zechariah 8:8 ...they will
be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their
God."
2 Corinthians 8:9 For you
know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet
for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might
become rich.
Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah
said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those
who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not
grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
Romans 8:11 And if the
Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who
raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies
through his Spirit, who lives in you.
John 8:12 When Jesus spoke
again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever
follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of
life."
Isaiah 8:13 The LORD
Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to
fear…
Romans 8:14
because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Romans 8:15 For you did not
receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received
the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
Romans 8:16 The Spirit
himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
Romans 8:17 Now if we are
children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if
indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his
glory.
Romans 8:18 I consider that
our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will
be revealed in us.
Romans 8:19 The creation
waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
Proverbs 8:20 I walk in the
way of righteousness, along the paths of justice,

LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on

continue wholeheartedly in your way.
Romans 8:24 For in this
hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes
for what he already has?
Mark 8:25 Once more Jesus
put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight
was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
Romans 8:26 In the same
way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought
to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that
words cannot express.
Romans 8:27 And he who
searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit
intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
Romans 8:28 And we know
that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who
have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:29 For those God
foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son…
Romans 8:30 And those he
predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those
he justified, he also glorified.
Romans 8:31 What, then,
shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against
us?

me and the earth.
Hebrews 9:14 How much more,
then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered
himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead
to death, so that we may serve the living God!

be to God for his indescribable gift!

everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind
on the earth."

are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and
abounding in love....

something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He
got up and was baptized,

them all: "If any would come after me, he must deny himself and take up
his cross daily and follow me.

to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will
save it.
1 Corinthians 9:25 Everyone
who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a
crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last
forever.
1 Corinthians 9:26
Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like
a man beating the air.
Nehemiah 9:27 So you handed
them over to their enemies, who oppressed them. But when they were
oppressed they cried out to you. From heaven you heard them, and in your
great compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them from the
hand of their enemies.
Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was
sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear
a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are
waiting for him.
Matthew 9:29 Then he
touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to
you";

"Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he
opened my eyes.
OCTOBER
Zechariah 10:1 Ask the LORD
for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who makes the storm clouds.
He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone.
Deuteronomy 10:2 I will
write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you
broke. Then you are to put them in the chest."
John 10:3 The watchman
opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his
own sheep by name and leads them out.
Romans 10:4 Christ is the
end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who
believes.
2 Corinthians 10:5 We
demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the
knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient
to Christ.
Jeremiah 10:6 No one is
like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.
Matthew 10:7 As you go,
preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’
Romans 10:8 But what does
it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,"
that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
John 10:9 I am the gate;
whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and
find pasture.
Romans 10:10 For it is with
your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you confess and are saved.

stand up under it.

sheep.
Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and
I will write them on their minds."
Romans 10:17 Consequently,
faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through
the word of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:18 For it
is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom
the Lord commends.
Hebrews 10:19 Therefore,
brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the
blood of Jesus,

are one."

since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw
off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and
let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our
eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy
