Complete Euro Coin Set

50 Cent, 20 Cent, 10 Cent, 5 Cent, 2 Cent, 1 Cent

Each of the twelve participating European Union Countries has issued eight different coins: 1 Cent, 2 Cent, 5 Cent, 10 Cent, 20 Cent, 50 Cent, 1 Euro and 2 Euro. So the complete set consists of 96 distinctly different issues. We offer complete 96-coin sets, 8-coin sets by country, and a 12-coin One Euro sets. We expect the One Euro set to be quite popular, as this denomination uses a bi-metal composition to go along with twelve distinct designs.  Note that all of these coins were released at the beginning of 2002, but a few have earlier dates since by law in some countries coins must be dated in the year they were struck, not in the year that they were released.

PACKAGED EURO SETS - Each set contains the eight Euro coins, from 1 Euro cent to 2 Euros.  The coins are in uncirculated condition and are sealed in an attractive full color holder with the country 'statistics'.  This packaging is not sold individually.

UNPACKAGED EURO SETS - Each set contains the eight Euro coins, from 1 Euro cent to 2 Euros.  The coins are in uncirculated condition, but are not in any fancy packaging.  We are offering a colorful (generic) vinyl coin holder that is sold separately.

EURO "STARTER" KITS - In preparation for the conversion to the Euro "starter kits" were issued by the Euro nations.  Each pack contained an assortment of coins so that when the Euro was released citizens would not have to scramble for change.  As might be expected, most packs were opened and spent, so few are available for collectors.  We are pleased to offer a Euro Starter Kits, already a collectors item in Europe!  The kits are all in a mint sealed plastic bag.   The coins are a mix of dates from 1999 to 2001, each bag seems to have a different mix of dates.

The 50 State Quarters® and Euro Coin Collection is a colorful three-piece coin and information collection. This collection has one folder containing the one-euro coins from each of the 12 original participating European Union member nations - Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain - in uncirculated quality, along with the 2002 uncirculated quarters from the United States Mint 50 State Quarters® Program - Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi - with (D) Denver mint mark. Each coin is in an individual, rotatable capsule allowing you to align the coins to your satisfaction.

The second folder in this set is overflowing with interesting historical information and coin design facts. You will learn the significance of key symbols on both the euros and the quarters, and the histories of how both coins came into existence. Both folders are contained in the third piece, a handsome slipcase, perfect to display or store your collection.
