Australian Silver Kookaburra Coins
Always
popular with collector and gift seeker alike, the pure silver Australian
Kookaburra coins give you miniature sculptures of a native Australian bird
on a unique precious metal coin. Australian Kookaburras are the ideal way
to start a collection. They also make distinctive gifts and unique
souvenirs of Australia.
The Kookaburra is
the only major silver bullion coin to change its design yearly.
This design change, coupled with its limited mintage, has made
the Kookaburra one of the most popular silver bullion coins
among both collectors and silver investors. The Kookaburra comes
in four popular sizes, 1oz., 2oz., 10oz. and kilo (32.5 oz. -
the worlds largest silver bullion coin.) We mainly stock the 1 oz. and
2 oz. sizes but can obtain the larger coins on a special order
bases. Mint packaging is not guaranteed. Queen Elizabeth II features
on the obverse. The effigy is the modern sculpture of the Queen, created
by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The uncirculated features a
polished kookaburra image against a slightly frosted recessed design.
Did
you know? Kookaburras are the largest members of the
kingfisher family, and are native to Australia.
